All the passengers were seated when this incident occured … yes, here’s another I Wish the Ground Would Open Up and Swallow Me Moment!
5th March 2010, Yulara, Australia
A female flight attendant fell from a plane before take-off while attempting to shut the doors.
Whilst trying to close the doors of the aircraft and as ground staff removed the stairway ramp, the attendant stumbled and fell headfirst three metres to the ground below. She was taken to a local medical centre and flown to Alice Springs with minor injuries.
