A 50 year old man who claimed he was trying to defend himself from a mugger, shot himself in the groin by accident.

The man, who had been drinking, believed he’d been hit by someone in the back of the head and was trying to defend himself. The incident happened in the parking lot of a grocery shop in May 2009.

Despite the man’s claims, investigating officers found no evidence to back them up. The man was convicted of illegally discharging a firearm, reckless endangerment and ‘prohibited use of a weapon – drunk with a gun’.

It really seems like teenagers will do anything to save their mobile phones … we’re not sure if this phone survived as well as it’s owner.

25th May 2010, Melbourne, Australia

A 16 year old girl was trapped from the waist down in a street drain after trying to retrieve her mobile phone.

The girl was sitting on the kerbside with a friend when her phone dropped between her legs and into the drain below around 11pm. She attempted to squeeze into the drain headfirst but when that didn’t work, she decided backwards was the way to go. After fitting her legs and hips through the gap, she was trapped from the waist down. Wedged in the drain in water and with friends unable to lift her out, emergency services were called.

Paramedics gave the teenager pain relief and the Country Fire Authority were able to help free her after 40 minutes. She was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The mobile phone was retrieved by an emergency worker.

After reading this you could be excused for thinking this woman was a serial airline chaser ….

A woman with breast implants, is suing an airline because her “F” size breasts hit the seat in front of her during strong inflight turbulence.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time the woman has sued an airline for problems with her breasts. In 2009, she successfully sued after an exploding breast caused her to collapse at an airport and be hospitalised.

When this nominee called police to the apartment of her estranged husband following an argument the first time, she had no injuries. On the second occasion that she called that same evening, she had sustained a swollen eye.

After blaming her husband, the police cuffed him … until she came clean that she had inflicted the damage to her face by herself … with a frying pan.

She was arrested for filing a false police report.

Isn’t it amazing where people get their ‘bit’s caught accidentally?? Enough to make you wince …

28th August 2007,  Bukit Mertajam, Malaysia

A 9 year old boy slipped in the bath and got his testicles caught in a metal pipe.
The boy was in the bath when he climbed a bathroom partition to see why his brother was calling out, when he slipped and landed on an uncovered metal pipe running into the concrete water tank.

The boy’s father rushed into the bathroom to find his son lying on the floor, his testicles stuck in the pipe. Despite the best efforts of firemen, they were unable to remove the pipe from the boys testicles. A hydraulic cutter was used to cut both ends of the pipe from the fittings and the boy and his pipe were were taken to Seberang Jaya Hospital. He required a 30 minute procedure to remove the organs from the pipe but was discharged shortly after.

3rd August 2006, Croatia

An unlucky man got his wedding tackle caught in a nasty deckchair after swimming naked in the sea at Valalta beach in western Croatia.

After a refreshing cool swim, the man sat down on the wooden deckchair naked. His now shrunken testicles relaxed through the slats of the seat. As we’ve found with many of our other stories of family jewels gone wrong, the testicles went back to normal size and with the aid of blood flow and gravity became stuck between the slats.

The man used his mobile phone to call beach maintenance services and a staff member was sent to cut the deck chair from the naked nads.

A 12 year old boy who received a bad school report was forced by his father to eat it.

Obviously disappointed in the report, the father forced the three pages into the boy’s mouth causing him to choke. When the boy didn’t swallow the papers, dad attempted to force it further down his throat. He continued his assault of the boy with slaps to the face.

At school the following day, the teacher noticed the boys’ injuries,  a swollen eye and cut lip, and report the father to social services. Dad was charged with assault and was sentenced to a two-month suspended prison sentence.

Ah, you know they say it … but don’t ever forget it, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!

When a 28 year old woman found out her boyfriend had been cheating, she went after the ‘other woman’.

On hearing her boyfriend’s admission of an affair, she went to the other woman’s house. Pushing her way in she threatened her rival with a broken bottle but was disarmed by her boyfriend. Not to be stopped, she began to attack the other woman with punches to the face, dragging her to the floor. Picking up an ornamental fairy from a bedside cabinet, she hit the woman around the face causing cuts to her nose.

The woman’s boyfriend attempted to drag his drunken and enraged girlfriend from the house but she was still able to kick her rival in the face before her departure. She then threw paint at the front door of the house and threatened a neighbour before launching an attack on the front door with a pitchfork.

The woman and her boyfriend fled the scene before police arrived. She was arrested at her boyfriend’s home and admitted actual bodily harm and criminal damage. She was given a six month jail term, suspended for a year.

Sacramento Kings basketball rookie Lionel Simmons, missed several games during the 1991 season through tendonitis of his left wrist and forearm.

Unfortunately for Lionel, he didn’t miss the games by injuring himself playing the game … well, not with the Sacramento Kings anyway. No, Lionel developed tendonitis by playing too many video games on his Nintendo GameBoy.
