These three Woftam nominees, kidnapped a man in New Jersey and drove him to Missouri, a trip of almost 2000kms. Unfortunately, it seems they had mistaken the identity of the kidnapped victim for someone else when they took him captive. The unsuspecting 59 year old victim was approached outside the pet supply store he owns by three men. When the men realised the victim’s name was the same as the man they’d been looking for, they shot him with a stun gun and bundled him into their car. They began the drive home to Missouri with their kidnap victim, who they tortured and beat.

Luckily for the victim, the kidnappers had car trouble before they reached their destination and he attempted to escape. A convenience store clerk spotted the escape and reported it to police.

The three men were arrested and charged with kidnapping … however, this may not have been their first error in identity. They are suspected of involvement in a home invasion in November where another man with the same name was also shot. Let’s hope they don’t get a chance to get third time lucky.
