A student at Cambridge University climbed onto the roof of Churchill College after midnight one night. He was spotted by a member of staff but refused to come down .

The University has a long tradition of climbers getting onto the roof. A member of staff indicated that parties were held up there during the 70s and 80s, although the practice is discouraged now.

The police were called but the man refused to get off the roof. Despite three warnings from them, he decided to make a run for it … unfortunately for him, a police dog gave chase, running him down and biting him in the process. The man was taken to hospital for treatment and wasn’t seriously hurt. The dog was left trying to get the taste of Woftam out of his mouth.
