A 36 year old man was burned from the waist down after a one-pot methamphetamine lab caught fire in his lap. He was found near his vehicle after it was reported engulfed in flames. A partially burned ammonia lab was found in the bed of his pickup and chemical ingredients were found in the vicinity. Read more »

This bright sparking Woftam thought it would be a good idea to try to steal some electrical cable in Victory Park, Johannesburg last week. Unfortunately, for him, the cable was charged with an electrical current of approximately 3000 volts and the Woftam was badly shocked. Read more »

Well, as 2009 fades into the sunset and we look to a fresh new year, if you were expecting to hear an announcment of the winner of the 2009 Woftam Awards, you might be disappointed. Whilst I’m sure there are deserving winners on site and even more we haven’t heard of yet, it would be unfair to award a winner from such a small band of merry nominees so far.

Don’t worry … there’ll be a winner for 2010, you’ll just have to hang around long enough to get your fill of Woftams for the year. You know why I can guarantee nominees? Because there’s no cure for stupid!
