A female flight attendant fell from a plane before take-off while attempting to shut the doors.

Whilst trying to close the doors of the aircraft and as ground staff removed the stairway ramp, the attendant stumbled and fell headfirst three metres to the ground below. She was taken to a local medical centre and flown to Alice Springs with minor injuries.

Fake Boobs

After reading this you could be excused for thinking this woman was a serial airline chaser ….

A woman with breast implants, is suing an airline because her “F” size breasts hit the seat in front of her during strong inflight turbulence.

The woman, a model, says the incident caused “bruises and strong pain in her left breast”. Doctors warned that her injury could have been even worse without implants. She claims it was a strong blow which hit her left breast, leaving her in pain.

She is demanding AU$142,000 from the airline, blaming the uncomfortable aircraft for the injury. She says that she always flies business class for the extra space, but claims the business class seats on the aircraft were not much bigger than economy seats.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time the woman has sued an airline for problems with her breasts. In 2009, she successfully sued after an exploding breast caused her to collapse at an airport and be hospitalised.

Gaga GaGa

We always thought Lady GaGa lived up to her name but the latest news on her is truly worthy of a Woftam nomination …

Lady GaGa boarded an eight hour flight from London to America this week wearing black and yellow tape and giant blue shoes. She was advised to undress by cabin staff …

when her legs began to swell enroute. The flight crew, well experienced in the risks of deep vein thrombosis, suggested that she get out of the risky clothes quickly to prevent any long-term health problems. The outfit was ‘cumbersome’ so she needed to be undressed by cabin crew. Phew, and all because of a pledge never to be seen in normal clothes again!

Mid-Air Brawl

We bet these passengers would have preferred to forget the inflight entertainment …

An aircraft flying at 30,000 feet over Pakistan with 106 passengers on board had its cockpit unmanned for some time whilst the crew were involved in a brawl.

The passengers watched in shock as the captain, co-pilot and two members of the cabin crew came to blows in the cockpit and galley. During the fracas, the captain threatened to land the plane in Karachi.

The argument is believed to have originated on the ground during the pre-flight briefing. When the stewardess went into the cockpit, it is alleged that one of the pilots held her hand and then pushed her out of the cockpit. A representative of the cabin crew, said that the stewardess hit the cockpit door with force and was left bleeding. On seeing this the male steward, approached the pilots in the cockpit to ask what had happened and that’s when the fight began. Both sides offer differing points of view on the actual events.

The cabin crew claim that the pilots had sexually harassed the stewardess. The pilots allege that a male crew member had misbehaved and endangered safety. When the pilots finally returned to the cockpit, they locked the crew out and safely landed the the plane in Delhi.

Police have been called in to investigate the claims of the stewardess, who sustained bruises during the scuffle. The co-pilot also sustained bruising. It is believed that the pilots are considering lodging a complaint against the two crew members involved. The airline has confirmed the brawl and that claims and counterclaims have been made. They have grounded all four staff members until further notice.

Frozen in Flight

The body of a man has been found lying inside the wheel well of a Boeing 777-200 after it landed at Narita airport in Japan on Sunday. It is believed the man may have been a stowaway who was able to hide himself away in the landing gear compartment just prior to take-off.

His body, wearing only a long-sleeved shirt and jeans, was discovered by an engineer during maintenance. He had suffered frostbite but had no other obvious injuries. The temperature at flight altitude falls to around minus 58 degrees (minus 50C) so it is possible the man died of hypothermia. Police are still investigating.
