Brake, Not Accelerator!

An elderly man, reversing out of a parking spot, hit the accelerator instead of the brake. The accelerating car hit a pedestrian, smashing him into the back of a stationary vehicle. The pedestrian, who was directing the car out of the parking spot, broke both legs, one required surgery and steel pins.
