Wetsuit Warmer

13th January 2010, Scottish Highlands

Umm, this might have hurt but I’m sure the hospital staff had a good laugh.

When 29 year old actor, Channing Tatum, was filming a movie in the Scottish Highlands last year, he struggled with the cold. Part of the filming required him to stand in freezing water wearing a wetsuit. In an attempt to keep warm, the crew boiled water, mixed it with river water and poured it down the suits.

At the end of the days’ filming Tatum was offered a final warm up before he left the set. After initially declining, he changed his mind and agreed.

Only one problem …. the water poured down the suit was scalding hot; the crew man had forgotten to dilute the boiled kettle with river water. The water penetrated the suit and was drawn further down by attempts to pull the suit away from the skin. The skin on Tatum’s penis was burned and he required medical treatment. And the worst of it? The nearest medical facility was over an hour away and Tatum had to endure the drive in agony. He and his privates have made a full recovery.
