A 26 year old man, who was stopped in West Phoenix for running a red light, gave the police officer his license and then did a runner from his car. He ran from the scene and disappeared behind a convenience store where he cleverly hid under a parked truck. Unfortunately for him, the unsuspecting truck driver started the vehicle and began to pull away, running over the suspect as he did so. The police officer was able to stop the truck and alert the driver to the injured man, who surprisingly complained of back pain. Why did he run? It seems he had a suspended driver license, warrants for DUI … and leaving the scene of a hit and run accident. It seems that some Woftam’s never learn …
